Agnes Babugura is a Dean of Research at a Continuous Professional Development institution in Botswana. She served as senior lecturer and head of Geography and Environmental Science at Monash University in South Africa. She authored several peer-reviewed publications. Her research on gender and climate change played a role in advocating for gender mainstreaming in climate change policies.
