Khaled Ezzelarab is associate professor of practice in the Journalism and Mass Communication Department at the American University in Cairo. He is a Middle East-based journalist who has been covering major stories in the region since 2003. He worked as a producer and correspondent at the BBC Arabic Service, as editor-in-chief of Aswat Masriya (Thomson Reuters Foundation), and senior news editor at Sky News Arabia. His work, particularly long-form documentaries, won awards in Egypt and the United Kingdom.
